The Grand Palace Bangkok

Our trip to Bangkok would not be complete without a visit to The Grand Palace.

The palace is huge, no wonder, King Mongkut (King Of Siam) had 82 children and 39 wives. If you had that many wives you would want some extra room, just to get away on your own.

With the blistering heat and being packed in shoulder to shoulder makes picture taking a challenge. Almost every picture had to be taken multiple times due to people just walking through your shot with no concern or care.

Nonetheless, we will go back, better prepared for heat and crowds.

This is a large palace, great murals, and gold everywhere. The architecture is also quite ornate.
Below are some detail photos from a mural in the Grand Palace.
